Qualification Requirements of Social Environmental Education Instructor (Related to Article 13, Paragraph 1 of Enforcement Decree of the Environmental Education Promotion Act)

Social Environmental Education Instructor Level 1 A. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than 3 years after obtaining the certification for social environment education instructor level 2 and completed the training course of social environment education instructor level 1 operated by a training institution.
B. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than 5 years after earning an Environmental Ph.D. and completed the training course of social environment education instructor level 1 operated by a training institution.
C. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than 9 years and completed the training course of social environment education instructor level 1 operated by a training institution.
Social Environmental Education Instructor Level 2 A. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than 3 years after obtaining the certification for social environment education instructor level 3 and completed the training course of social environment education instructor level 2 operated by a training institution.
B. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than 3 years after earning a master's degree in environment and completed level 2 training course operated by a training institution.
C. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than 6 years and completed level 2 training course operated by a training institution.
Social Environmental Education Instructor Level 3 A. Person who has completed Social Environmental Education Instructor Level 3 training course operated by a training institution.
B. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than one year after earning a master's degree in environmental education and completed level 2 training course operated by a training institution.
C. Person who has been engaged in environmental education-related business for more than 3 years and completed simple training course operated by a training institution.

Remarks

  • "Experience in environmental education-related work" means a career in public education or social environmental education institutions and organizations in planning, conducting, analyzing and evaluating environmental education programs or in environmental education.
  • “Simple training course operated by training institution” is a workshop training course (16 hours) consisting of ecological life (2 hours), environmental education resources (4 hours), safety management and education (4 hours), and experience environmental education (6 hours).

Qualification restrictions (related to Article 11, Paragraph 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Environmental Education Promotion Act)

  • An incompetent under adult guardianship or limited guardianship.
  • A person who was sentenced to imprisonment or more and has finished the execution of the sentence or two years has not passed since it is determined not to be executed.
  • A perfson ineligible or suspended under court judgment or law. An incompetent under adult guardianship or limited guardianship
    ※ If there are restrictions on qualification, certification will not be issued even after passing the training and evaluation.

Estimated duration of employment: 80 hours per year (240 hours total for 3 years)

If it is found that you have submitted false educational application and supporting documents, the institution that completed the career may have limited career recognition authority, and the instructor may be disqualified.
